Hopi Ear Candle Treatment (Thermal Auricular Therapy)

An ancient treatment used by Native American Indians, this is a natural, effective and soothing alternative to ear syringing, and can treat/alleviate many conditions including excessive/compacted earwax, hay fever, headaches, migraines, sinusitis, tinnitus, Meniere's Disease, catarrh, snoring, glue ear and painful ears caused by air travel.

The candles, cylindrical with hollow centres, are made from organic flax and contain natural ingredients such as honey, beeswax and herbs. The candle is held at the entrance to the ear, which gently warms, cleanses and soothes the area, as well as regulating the pressure inside the ear.

An ear massage is carried out after each candle and the treatment ends with a relaxing facial and scalp massage to relieve tension, clear sinuses and relax and calm the mind.

The treatment is available for adults (lasting one hour) and for children (30 minutes).

Indonesian Massage

This unique massage has come from the Spice Islands of Indonesia, handed down through generations as a way to restore balance to the body and mind. The treatment involves compression techniques using the therapist's body weight and energy in a unique way, clearing energy lines, boosting circulation, balancing the whole body and restoring vitality, whilst the unusual combination of dry techniques followed by a warming oil allows stronger penetration deep into the muscles and tissues.  Balinese music and the scent of temple incense will help transport you away from everyday stresses and the powerful massage will leave you uplifted, recharged and invigorated.

Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is a wonderful, deep massage technique using specially shaped natural basalt stones, which are preheated and then used to effect deeper tissue relaxation. Whilst areas are being massaged, warmed stones are placed on the body making you feel engulfed in warmth and comfort as the stones melt away tense muscles, leaving you calm, relaxed and revitalised.

As well as body treatments, there is also the Hot Stone Facial. This is a deluxe facial using warmed stones for the facial massage, whilst hot stones are placed on the body and between the toes for the ultimate pampering treatment.
